Paul Mullally began his career as a chemist in science laboratories and moved to working in the Higher Education field in 2007. He has been directly involved with student recruitment from a range of different countries and regions, and he has worked for several institutions over the years including two in Ireland: Griffith College and Maynooth University. He was also a former Deputy Director of Griffith International at Griffith University in Australia. Over the last 7 years, Paul has been an international education consultant and has worked with universities in all over the world to help with their internationalisation strategies. Paul now has a team, and with his Education Lighthouse team, has contributed to the development of international education over recent years by writing internationalisation strategies and implementing them for institutions as well as contributing to national and international discussions and forums relating to international education. He has recruited students from many different regions for all his clients. He has attended, exhibited, and presented at many international conferences and student fairs around the world. In his spare time he is known to enjoy Netflix and chill, socialising with friends and getting out into the countryside away from the hustle and bustle of city life. His favourite place to spend time is Inishbofin, an island on the West Coast of Ireland.
Patrícia Enzweiler is multilingual professional (Portuguese, Spanish & English) with a Bachelor Degree in Business Administration at Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul State, elected for the 7th year the best Business University in Brazil. She is passionate about working in the Education field, with over 13 years experiencing many different challenges. No matter if she was working for Regular Schools, English Schools, Private Institutions, Universities or providing services to them, the main goal was only one: transform student’s life through education. She also worked in Education start-ups developing flexibility to adjust to the business needs and a deeper understanding of different areas and procedures. Familiar with optimising cost, training new staff, dealing with challenging sales targets and implementing new marketing plans. And she was exclusively involved with International Recruitment for the last 5 years, attending meetings and fairs in North America, Latin America, Europe and Africa. In her free time she likes playing many different sports, and she works out every day. Patrícia was born in Porto Alegre (Brazil), but she moved several times. Together with her dog Juanito, she lived in Sao Paulo for 9 years, Dublin for 3 years and now she is based in Madrid.
Raphaël Benoist worked for more than 15 years in International Relations within universities. He worked for 12 years working at the Troyes University of Technology (engineering university in France where he received his engineering degree in Mechanical engineering) as Deputy Director of the International Relations office where he strengthened international partnerships, led the recruitment of incoming students and managed summer programmes.
Then open to new challenges he had the opportunity to move to New Zealand and work at the University of Auckland as International Manager for the Faculty of Arts and the Faculty of Creative Arts and Industries. There, he set up the international recruitment strategy for the 2 faculties and with all the team of the IO, exceeded international recruitment targets. With the International office team, he strengthened the university partnerships, retained relations with education agents, streamlined international admission processes and developed TNEs.
Now back to France full of broad expertise in International Education (from international student recruitment to international partnerships), he would be delighted to help, develop and support HEIs in their international strategies.
